Chris Jones

Chris Jones serves as head coach for the ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ men’s and women’s golf programs. A proud ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ alumnus and former member of the Bears golf team from 1993-97, he returned to his alma mater bringing years of coaching experience across collegiate and high school levels.
Before rejoining ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ, Jones led the men’s and women’s golf programs at NCAA Division III Pfeiffer University for four seasons. During his tenure, he expanded roster sizes by 44 percent, launched three home tournaments and helped the men's team climb 64 spots in the national rankings. His leadership also propelled the women’s team to their best single-round score since the 2015–16 season.
Jones previously held head coaching roles at Johnson & Wales University and assistant coaching roles at Belmont Abbey. He began his coaching career at North Guilford High School, where he guided both the men's and women's golf teams to state-level success, including a state championship and two runner-up finishes. Over eight years, he earned five Coach of the Year honors and helped 10 student-athletes advance to collegiate golf.
